The Canary Islands Health Service is an autonomous body of an administrative nature attached to the Ministry of Health and is divided into two sectors: the hospital and the primary care. As its scope of action encompasses the eight islands that make up the archipelago, we talk about a dispersed technological infrastructure, deployed in up to 82 buildings and present in thousands of computers. Guarantee the attention to the citizen From a technical but also a logistical point of view, the Servicio Canaria de la Health faced the challenge of having to manage a large volume of computers very dispersed, which produced all kinds of inefficiencies and even affected directly to the service that the medical personnel offered to the citizens.
